I am starting a new series here at Home in Wonderland… I Washed My Hair With Wednesdays. I’m on a journey to increased sustainability in my lifestyle, and decreasing toxins in my home. (You know, just like most slightly-crunchy millennials. And certainly like most slightly crunchy mom-bloggers). And while I never promised to be unique or anything but totally random in the topics I write about, I did create this blog to share about whatever tickles my fancy in the moment, and in this moment, washing my hair with random things found in my kitchen does just that. So here’s what I washed my hair with this week… Eggs! For real bro. I have pretty long hair so I used three eggs beaten together and then poured and worked into wet locks. It took enormous self-control to shower in lukewarm water so as to avoid a head of scrambled eggs. Even then, once I figured it was probably all rinsed out, I turned up the water temp. I also never said I was a master of self control. Consequently, I did find a few bits of scrambled whites in my hair…
